On this Fourth Sunday of Easter we celebrate Good Shepherd Sunday, inspired by the Gospel reading for today’s Mass. While this year's Good Shepard Sunday lands on Mother’s Day weekend, this day gives us the opportunity to give thanks for the gift of our priests and to pray for vocations to the priesthood.
Your contributions, big or small, to this weekend’s second collection will go directly to support Assumption Seminary, right here in the Archdiocese of San Antonio, to train young men for the priesthood. For over 100 years the seminary has worked locally to send out Shepards to tend the flock in the archdiocese and across the Country.
